How booking on a call works
- You connect the calendar you already use, and set which services can be booked and how long each one takes.
- handlo answers the call, works out what the caller wants, and offers the slots your calendar actually has free.
- It captures the service, the time and the caller’s contact details, and writes the appointment where your team will see it.
- The caller hears the booking confirmed on the call. If they gave an email, they are added to the calendar invite and Google sends it to them.
- Reschedules and cancellations can be handled on a later call, so the caller does not have to reach your team to move a time.
What it does not do
handlo does not double-book. Slots are checked against the connected calendar at the moment they are offered, and a database constraint refuses two appointments that overlap on the same resource — so a race between two simultaneous callers cannot produce a clash.
It also does not take a deposit to hold a slot, and it will not invent availability. If the calendar is full it captures the request and tells you, rather than promising a time you cannot keep.
